This boy is amazing. There is no other way to describe him. Who would sit and tolerate a bandage change to this wound? Here he is just before getting the wound dressed and re-bandaged.

Gideon is an amazing survivor! He is a one year old white German Shepherd who came to us with the worst degloving injury we or our vet team had ever seen. Gideon is maybe half way through the recovery process and amazes us every day with his silly nature and his polar bear smile! We could not have saved Gideon without the help and skillful work of Dr. Wheaton and all of the staff at Alicia Pet Care Center.
